The short version
Your files never leave your device. We don't have accounts, we don't track you, and we don't share data with anyone — because we don't collect any.
What stays on your device
Every conversion runs in your browser. Files you drop in, text you paste, and results you generate are processed locally and discarded when you close the tab. Recent items and preferences live in your browser's local storage on your machine.
No tracking
We don't use analytics that identify you, advertising cookies, or third-party trackers. The site may use minimal, anonymous request logs at the hosting layer (standard for any website) for security and reliability — nothing more.
Offline use
Switchboard installs as a PWA and caches the app shell so it works offline. That cache lives on your device and contains only the app code — not your data.
Third parties
No data is sold or shared. There are no third-party data processors involved in handling your files.
