Privacy Policy

You do not need an account to use Switchboard. We do not ask for your name, email address, password, phone number, payment details, or social-media profile.

Files, images, documents, text, and converter inputs you use in Switchboard are processed locally in your browser. The Service does not provide an upload endpoint for those inputs, store them in a Switchboard database, or send them to VextoApps for conversion.

Switchboard also does not run advertising scripts, analytics services, telemetry, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies. It does not sell, rent, or share user files or converter inputs because it does not receive them.

Some converter tools may let you create a share link using data encoded after the # symbol in the URL. This happens locally. URL fragments are generally handled by your browser and are not sent with the standard page request to the website server.

Even so, share links can expose their content to anyone who receives the link, sees a screenshot, has access to browser history, or uses the device. Please do not create or share a link containing personal, confidential, sensitive, or identifying information.

Switchboard is delivered through an edge-hosting environment. Like most websites, the hosting layer may process limited technical request information such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security-related events. This processing helps deliver the site, prevent abuse, maintain reliability, and meet applicable legal obligations.

The Service uses a Google Fonts link to load Plus Jakarta Sans and JetBrains Mono. When your browser requests those fonts, Google may receive standard request information, such as your IP address and browser details, under its own privacy practices. These font requests are separate from your conversion inputs; Switchboard does not send your files or text to Google Fonts.

We do not use hosting or font-request information to profile you, run targeted advertising, or build a behavioural history.

The limited technical information processed at the hosting and font-delivery layers is used only to deliver, protect, and maintain the Service. VextoApps does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

We may disclose information where required to comply with applicable law, a lawful request, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of VextoApps, users, or others. As the Service has no user-content database, there is no stored conversion content for us to provide.

You control local Switchboard data through your browser. You can clear the relevant site data, remove the installed app, or use private browsing if you do not want information retained locally.

We will respond in good faith to questions or requests. Please understand that we cannot access, export, amend, or delete files and text that remain only in your browser, and hosting providers may retain limited technical logs under their own security and legal requirements.

Switchboard's local-first design reduces the need for your conversion inputs to leave your device. It does not remove every privacy or security risk. Your device, browser, browser extensions, local network, operating system, and third-party services used to share files or links are outside our control.

Keep your device secure and check important output before relying on it. Do not process sensitive content on a shared or compromised device.
